I'll be traveling all day today, so watching the game will be a challenge. I have a question: will it be on ESPN to go, even its on espnu, not ESPN3??
Yes it will be on ESPN3 and watch ESPN as well.

The game is on ESPN-U. You can watch it online on WatchESPN if you have ESPN-U through your television service provider. It is not on ESPN3. You get ESPN3 as long as you have high speed internet through a listed provider. You only get to watch ESPN-U online if you have that channel in your television package.
I think that is right.....
Is this a good enough TV deal to warrant playing a Thursday night game? I though initially it was on ESPN 2.
SBC TV contract allows for two games on ESPN/ESPN2 per season, and five on ESPNU.
The ESPN2 games have always been on a Tuesday.
The ESPNU games have always been on Thursdays.
ESPN decides who plays in which games then the SBC makes the rest of the conf schedule around it.
