Hudspeth seems conflicted on Cajun QB call

Inserting Nixon on the 3rd series reminded me of something Marty used to do. Our team would be on a run and Marty would call a Time Out to "COACH." I think overall he was a really good coach, but this one thing aggravated the hell out of me and some others.

Really! Maybe because Nixon went in and threw a pick when we were about to pull away? And it isn't Haack's fault our playcalling turns to ____ in the redzone (not that it's very good anywhere on the field).

I don't blame the QB, I blame the system. Zone read is lameeee. But yea, it's Haack's fault we had to settle for 4 FG attempts...

Hell, I was passionate as all get out over basketball. Fletcher drove me away. The epotimy of how abrasive that whole situation was back then was the basketball coaches' wives moved to the other side of the dome because the east side fans were calling Marty out. Which was funny, the west side fans offended them too.

Oh Marty took us to the NCAA's, hell, with that talent a blind squirrel could find that nut.

We came back gradually a few years ago to basketball. Game is different, but we don't have the inflatable flaying arm man for a coach.
