Yeah, but Sun Belt Basketball as a whole was a much better product back then. Weren't we consistently sending 2-3 teams to the NCAA tournament every year?

SBC basketball is not good because the university presidents, athletic directors, and head basketball coaches do not want to do what it takes(funding, scheduling) to improve the conference RPI.

They would rather get 20 wins over SBC schools and a steaming pile of _____ non-conference schools.

No, I am not 'connected.' I know Robert Daigle slightly, and I leveraged that for all it was worth to get a tour of the APC before it was opened. That's it: a one-time moment (A first and only time for me) that will no doubt never be repeated.

But even if I was 'connected' like you seem to think that I am, I take great comfort in knowing that I have your approval to do so.

I absolutely disagree. I'm not saying play in a 5000 seat arena, but 8000 is plenty big enough for the Cajuns. Hell, under Marlin 5000 would be enough. Having a 50% filled Cajun Dome isn't impressive no matter how you spin it. We will never average 60% capacity of the Cajun Dome with Marlin as HC or in the Sun Belt.

In other words, the Cajuns will never be good enough in your opinion now nor in the future to fill the dome over 50% or 60% with Marlin at the helm and in the Sun Belt.....well I guess our boy are no better than 5000 fans. I live in a four bed room house, kids gone and just me and my wife. So I will start looking for an apartment because I don't use all the space anymore. Well maybe not, because every now and than the kid and grandkids come over to see what the score is. So I think I will keep all my seating avalible for them.......
