Revenue generating suites, also T. Joe's suite, are above the 300 level. Not a snowballs chance in SF's office that they drop a curtain blocking them.

If I had to guess, there wasn't enough $ in the budget to paint it.
Are we talking about the roof or ceiling here.......They have the money for the roof. I assume that with all those trucks jumping around the dome floor and the exhaust the ceiling would get a little yellow. But it still looks good.

Why do we always talk about the Dome being to big. I guess it would be better that we play in a smaller arena and have people standing outside and can't get in. Better to have to much than to little. TMO.....

The ceiling looks like it's almost thirty years old. Very dingy.

The problem isn't the facility. It's the product. There should be 7-8 k at most games and a couple of 10k plus nights even in the current SBC.

I do agree it is the product. Unfortunately the product is Sun Belt Basketball. Last year we led the Sun Belt in attendance. We had almost double the attendance of the school in second place.

We seated 10k in a championship game vs USA, a current member of the SBC.

We had a very good product then. Didn't approach 5k in the UNO arena vs very good GSU, and WKU teams. Granted the games were about 130 miles away.

Yeah, but Sun Belt Basketball as a whole was a much better product back then. Weren't we consistently sending 2-3 teams to the NCAA tournament every year?

I absolutely disagree. I'm not saying play in a 5000 seat arena, but 8000 is plenty big enough for the Cajuns. Hell, under Marlin 5000 would be enough. Having a 50% filled Cajun Dome isn't impressive no matter how you spin it. We will never average 60% capacity of the Cajun Dome with Marlin as HC or in the Sun Belt.
