The size might not be ideal right now, but I think the atmosphere will be much improved after the renovations. The 'final' solution will be when we create enough interest to draw larger crowds. We have enough of a fan base that this is a realistic goal, IMHO

But what a pathetic little POS, though if you think about it: he actually spends a great deal of time driving around and taking pics everytime he finds a missing "L" ....... guess he's doing it for that lawsuit they filed, lol.

I also states in that article that they will start to re-do the roof early next year...around March. Can't come soon enough for that...I live nearby so that have to see that ugly roof on a weekly basis.

But then again, what will little Germdawg do, since he will have one less pic to take of our campus, LOL.

And I know that this would probably be cost-prohibitive, but wouldn't it be great to have our logo or name on the roof? Given that it is such a visible icon in town it would be a great place to do some advertising for ourselves.

A giant "Louisiana Ragin Cajuns" on two sides of the roof that can be seen from all angles. Similar to what is on the "Mercedes Benz Superdome"!

I would think that because it is run by the city, they are not bound by any name restrictions.

That itself will make the dome feel smaller, good idea. I wish they would paint the ceiling black.
