Agreed. There are many reasons why, but we are not a good team.

I'm especially happy for the players, they kept at it and it's always good to win.

Defense stepped up. Need to clean up penalties and please try new ____ with Eli. Quit hamstringing our best player!

Exactly. The defense would have to think.

You're somewhat right. But one thing Haack needs is some better play designs. It isn't just 4-5 receivers. You can disguise a ball catcher in several spots. We need more screens and some open looks for Haack. I never ever see a wide open Cajun receiver. It makes no sense. And Jamal should not be "streaking" down the sidelines. He isn't a barn burner. He should be used like Colston in his early years. He's an over the middle slant guy. I guarantee you if Brees saw our offense he'd tell Hud "put that guy Robinson in some slants and let your QB hit see him". Our play design isn't very intelligent for the talent.

And Pierce should be our feature back. He's so nifty it's not funny. He doesn't take direct hits. He finds small daylight and burns right through it. Riles and Eli could occasionally spell Pierce... but Eli needs to be a hybrid back/receiver operating mostly in the slot.

I am not real clear about our defense. I see individual heroics... but every down play is a mystery. It still all hinges on getting more of a pass rush. Our run defense is solid. We need to keep increasing the skill level of our best pass rushers. They have some game. But they don't always work as an organized swarm. When they do, it's pretty impressive. Please do not require me to coach our secondary... that's beyond my pay grade.

Way to geaux Cajuns! A win on the road!
Especially under so much adversity (penalties).
You found a way to get a win on the road. Not pretty; but, a win is a win!

Robinson should be used like Ladarius green was.

Brooks Haack did not tear it up but he manage the game which I will take it any day from either QB. I thought he played well until Nixon went in for the one series then he started to stare down receivers and tried to hard to make Robison a vital part of the game. We are in trouble at QB if JJ doesn't get his head out of his @$$. Play calling is hurting us more than either QB. I'm cool with rolling with Brooks but we will need Nixon against app st I feel if we hurry on offense we can be them. Good job to the team one last thing we can not play man to man without over the top coverage.
