So we are 4-4. Two more wins gets us a bowl invite. Will you be spending your money to follow this team to. A bowl game if it is not the New Orleans Bowl?

Fans may not spend the money, but the Conference will (BETTER) help bail us out if the game is in Narnia. We can use the extra practice time and exposure because the young guys need the extra reps and we need some more exposure for recruiting purposes. Geaux CAJUNS!

Nope.. Hud will never do it. He thinks the prophet is a 20 pound full back and he still thinks Nixon is a legit dual threat qb. He is barley a single threat qb. Hud is hard headed and to proud to admit he s wrong by going to someone else besides nixon permanently

At this point, I don't think it's a poor performance, it's just who this team is. We're just not very good, lets be honest. Hopefully, our "not very good" can get us bowl eligible so that we set ourselves up decently for recruiting because lord knows we are missing some pieces.

thats what im screaming... it will be a huge departure from what Hud likes but right now, thats where our strength is it. Prophet would be deadly out on a post

This goes back to the bright advice for our coaching staff this year. Pierce should be the feature back. He's fantastic. Eli is a hybrid player that belongs in the slot. From the slot, he has many options. But as a rule, Pierce should be the feature back. He's better at finding the creases and his exceleration is unparalleled. We all have a bad habit of listening to the media. Pierce is a stud. And Eli belongs as a hybrid receiver that spells Pierce at RB.

I never thought about this, but you make a good point. I have felt we should be doing more with Eli in the passing game and getting him the ball on the edges. Why not have them both in the backfield at times as well? Pierce does run well between the tackles and has great vision.

Now you get it. And one of those spread outs needs to be McGuire with Pierce and Jalen in the backfield. That would be something.

There's a lot of ugly that made that game a win for us today. But I'm always happy with a win. We used to have a lot of ugly and a loss many years ago.

I have a lot of criticism that I'm not going to spew right now. I have a good buzz and we won.
