They just made that look easy.
One thing hasn't changed so far. Dbacks can't cover.
We better score a lot because we ain't stopping this passing attack.
This QB is about to displace Fournette for heisman front runner against Cajun defense if they don't put any pressure on him.
Swiss cheese secondary!
Why on earth would you come out in a man defense, with an injured secondary against this guy? Switch to zone now!!
Agreed. Everyone expects Nixon to make that read and take it up the middle but not so much with Haack. I also liked seeing him roll out of the pocket. It's not a huge change but enough to make a difference. Of course GaST defense isn't anything to write home about either.
I wonder....did anyone let our db's know we were playing a game today??
I wish the Cajuns would throw over the middle.
Fair enough. But it is football... and he's a football player. He isn't small. He can take a hit. If you noticed, he was going into a slide when he was hit. A fraction of a second sooner, and that hit would have been a PF. Haack has shown a head for running toward daylight and getting down to avoid getting mashed. Regardless, if he's a threat to pass... teams will give him some open runs. He needs to take them. If he gets banged up... we go to Nixon.
We threw to a TE!!!!!!!
