Never said Haack sucked. What I said is when he run, he gets hit hard. He will not last the season like that. That is all.
So if we gonna roll with Haack I'd like to see him run less. Just my opinion.

Fair enough. But it is football... and he's a football player. He isn't small. He can take a hit. If you noticed, he was going into a slide when he was hit. A fraction of a second sooner, and that hit would have been a PF. Haack has shown a head for running toward daylight and getting down to avoid getting mashed. Regardless, if he's a threat to pass... teams will give him some open runs. He needs to take them. If he gets banged up... we go to Nixon.

Agreed. Everyone expects Nixon to make that read and take it up the middle but not so much with Haack. I also liked seeing him roll out of the pocket. It's not a huge change but enough to make a difference. Of course GaST defense isn't anything to write home about either.

I wish the Cajuns would throw over the middle.

Crazy, isn't it? I still can't believe we don't have TE hidden screens or more slants by Jamal. Tall guys easy to see and hit. Plus, if Eli slides threw a seem on a fake jet sweep or he operates in the slot, he's going to be open over the middle. Why we don't use the open middle puzzles me.
