Thanks guys. I thoroughly enjoyed this tread.
    My observations:
Over the past two games we have had a distinct advantage in special teams and in game adjustments. Our staff has clearly outcoached the last two opposing staffs.
Our DB's struggle in all defensive schemes.
Our DL is improving. Shorting up the rotation has helped.
Nice to see a WR get open downfield and catch the ball!!
    McGuire had no burst.

We as fans may be pressing hard for Robinson to be a vital part of this offense... but the coaching staff isn't. Gabe and Jamal don't compare in the roles they should play. If Hud realizes after today which QB should be our primary QB... he might realize what plays to focus on... and he might even realize who our receivers are and what routes they belong in.

Correct in everything... except that our staff has not out-staffed anyone this year. The only thing you could possibly be pointing to is the blatant brain freeze that has happened in at least two games by opposing coaches. Other than those horrible brain freezes... I stuggle to see where we have been better as a coaching staff for an entire game.

True as true can be. I just haven't been able to confirm through people close to the system whether JJ is a part of the problem... Hud is the problem... or if combined they have only half an offensive brain between them. If they're combining effort in deciding how this offense operates... I'm thoroughly unimpressed. It's just not that difficult to see how to utilize the talent we have. It isn't even a close call. It isn't just a "well, that's one idea I guess". It's blatant ignorance. We are jamming a square peg in a round hole. And I believe Hud is the hammer.

I have you beat. I booked my 3 rooms 6 months ago at Staybridge. Hopefully that's where we end up.

You're right not only Denzel their linemen held every play. Really poor officiating. I'm a Hud fan, but taking Hack out was stupid. Play calling really, really inept

We are in trouble at QB if JJ doesn't get his head out of his @$$. Play calling is hurting us more than either QB. I'm cool with rolling with Brooks but we will need Nixon against app st I feel if we hurry on offense we can be them. Good job to the team one last thing we can not play man to man without over the top coverage.
I watched Arbuckle and he stared down every receiver... including every one of the ones he completed passes to. This nonsense about "staring down the receiver"... in college football... is a joke. Go back and watch the replay. Arbuckle stared down every player he hit... and so do most of the successful QBs in college football.

Haack did an excellent job "managing the game." That is not a slight at him. He did exactly what he needed to do. He was efficient even though our receivers didn't really help him out with many yards after the catch.

But, how about the turn around of the special teams? They have essentially won us 2 in a row. Who saw that coming? Also, hats off to the defense. The coverage was, um.....not great. That was to be expected though. They played well when they needed to and only gave up 21 points to a type of offense that usually carves us up.

Coaching, officiating and the offense we'll save for another day. Let's enjoy this.

Even if we only have the momentum of a turtle, next week we finally get above .500. My positive takeaway from this game, besides winning, is the Cajun defense held the other team to 21 points. Yeah it's only GA St but their offense is supposed to be their strength. Just keep finding a way to win.
