The weariness is evident in Dr. Nicole Michael's eyes. It's the first thing one notice as he enters her Eunice office.

Between keeping up with one of the worst disasters in history (only the tsunami in 2004 is comparable in recent memory) in the country where she lived for the first 19 years of her life, speaking to the press, and running her practice it is understandable. What is surprising is the positive attitude, determination and the smile that she is able to display to those she meets.
