If we are going to run 2 QB system, Nixon needs to be able to do more than run. 90% run scheme with Nixon will not do much for our offense.
Well when you send him out and run the same exact play from the first time he goes in, it definitely won't work. That would have been the perfect spot for a play action play to the TE but our coaches don't think that well.

The issues we have are caused by play calling. Those issues will persist regardless of who is at QB.

I would love to see us run a double TE on one side of the line and let one of the TEs release. 99% chance he would be uncovered with Nixon behind center.

I've been saying this FOREVER. If they wanted to keep Nixon at QB, in theory, we could run a 3 TE set and never be stopped. Just that one formation gives that kind of offense a million possibilities.

In the first half we ran a nice play to Robinson where he motioned inside and then pulled across the formation. He made a great catch on a bad throw but these are the types of plays we need more of with Nixon under center. Honestly regardless of who is under center bc it lets our playmakers make a play in space. That type of play would work great with TEs as well.
