For the people that are propping up haack, that's fine, but then you have to give the same credit for Nixon against Txst. A lot of people said he only did it bc it was bad competition. What I saw in the field last night wasn't exactly good competition.
Haacks ball to Robison for the TD was on the money, but to say Nixon can't make that throw, I say look at the deep balls against Txst as well. Those were on the money, again, against lesser competition.
I'm glad haack was able to come in and get us the W, but I didn't see a world beater out there.

And really, the defense wasn't awful in the first half. 2 of ULMs touchdowns came on 4th down, and were outstanding play calls and execution by them.

I disagree...the defense was putrid in the first half. In the second half they were rock solid. I would really like to see our team come in and look...halfway decent in the first half. We have to be the absolute worst team in the first half in the nation.

No...we don't. Haack is a QB. Nixon is a tailback being misused as a QB. Nixon could not have made that throw. I can say that with absolute certainty. What you saw was an actual quarterback...act accordingly.

Well technically, they did stop them in the red zone. ULM just went for it on fourth down. But between the 20s, it wasn't pretty, I'll agree there.

He may have thrown some completions but he was just throwing the ball up and letting the recievers make adjustments and come back to the ball.
