Georgia State is tied with Arkansas State in the 2nd (13-13), so we'd better be ready next week.
At least HUD gave HAACK his very well deserved kudos at the end of the game. I like HAACK better at QB, but I still think bad play calling was the problem in the first half more than Nixon.
The players totally deserve this win. The coaching staff tried their best to lose the game, but some football players wouldn't allow it. Thank you football players!
Whether Hud decides to go with Nixon or Haack is not nearly as important that Hud and Jay stop being boneheads calling our plays. We are an edge speed team... not a power up the gut team. We can only run it up the gut when we have the defense thinking we might pass. It's absolutely silly. That deep ball with Robinson ought to be more common. He needs to be running 45s... not 90s or straight down the sideline. He needs a floater he can see and out jump a defender. And get Eli in the slot when Pierce is in the backfield. Use Riles as a relief back/blocking back. He's a man. Use your damn brain and let this football team talent play the way it can!
I am very hard on the team in games like tonight. After a few minutes to cool off I need to say Congratulations to the team for never giving up. They won in spite of a very poor coaching performance tonight. Congratulations to Artigue for 3 FGs in one game. Yes, you missed one, but you hit three!
Drinking beer from my Louisiana Ragin' Cajun frosty mug helps once again!
Well, I left after half, so didn't know what the play calling was. Just dont understand the flat defense we continue to play in first halfs.
Couple passes in the middle to Jamal, early on changes the game dynamics, that was a first class throw and catch along with a good route
