Is there anyone who will be able to reliably relieve Adams? It appeared as though Adams hitting tailed off at the end of last year, which I would imagine had a lot to do with being fatigued from catching almost every game.

We need to develop a backup catcher. I don't think the other guys on the roster are ready yet. As of today, it's probably the injury we can least afford.

My guess would be the JUCO (Andrew Bryan) would be the top backup right now but my guess would be they are hoping F Ryne Ray picks up the system quickly and can be a contributor this year.
