Predict The Yardage: Louisiana vs ULM

ULM has been hit hard by injuries on both sides of the football. They still have trouble running it, as they did a year ago. Their redshirt freshman quarterback is pretty good and he's only going to get better. Their receiving corps misses Ceaser terribly. And, Holley has been banged up as well.

They were a solid defensive team at the beginning of the year, but they've been beaten down physically and mentally.

Mentally they will be ready this week.

ULM must have a terrible strength and conditioning program. They seem to get decimated by injuries every single year. I don't just mean one or two here and there, they lose 8-10 guys every season it seems.

Historically this game has been their Super Bowl, especially for the Acadiana recruits

They play like people who have nothing to lose. Fake everything, go for it on all 4th downs, on-side kicks, blitz everyone up the middle....... Messing with someone that has nothing to live for is a very dangerous person!

Correct, usually by this time in the season they do have nothing to lose.

ULM has certainly got nothing to lose right now. They'll play with wreckless abandon come Saturday. That usually works out either very well, or horribly. I don't think they have the talent to stay on the field with us. We'll see.
