Cajuns 546 looks a lot like last week. Solid running game, atrocious passing game.
ULMost 375 some of you are dismissing a decent defense that we have. We haven't put together a full 4 quarters of defense but when we do we will shut down our opponents.
ULM has been hit hard by injuries on both sides of the football. They still have trouble running it, as they did a year ago. Their redshirt freshman quarterback is pretty good and he's only going to get better. Their receiving corps misses Ceaser terribly. And, Holley has been banged up as well.
They were a solid defensive team at the beginning of the year, but they've been beaten down physically and mentally.
Mentally they will be ready this week.
Beginning of the year, I played the yardage game. Even did darn well one week. Now, given the fortunes of our team, I'm in the "heck with this, just win the darn game" mode...
I want all of you ppl saying how awful ULM is to remember this next Sunday morning..
Cajuns open as 11 1/2 point favorites. Let's hope Vegas knows something.
