Im with you on this one but I still think we are in the minority.

It is all about the scheme and lack of creativity. We recruited size over speed with the exception of Scott, Haynes and Fuse (quickness). Yet we don't do a good job of running crossing routes or rubs to help create more separation.

A lot of time we have multiple WR open but by the time the ball is delivered that window has closed. This isn't high school, a half step on a guy is open. Very rarely do you get more than a half step in college.

We have a converted LB at the slot.

We have the Mr. Overhyped at the other wideout.

I like Haack as much as I like Nixon with this Off Line and play calling Haack wouldn t last one game. If you look at both QB they both had one good passing game but Nixon can also run the ball. Most teams are keying on Eli so we need someone who can run the ball, we need to get a play in less than 25 seconds and mix up the play calling meaning more than five plays.

----Trusting to make a throw --like Nixon's great play that probably won the Tulane game for us??? Nixon's running ability is more of a threat a QB then RB-----Haynes can play outside!!!! lol

We don't have very good receivers. Nixons passing was poor last night in the first half especially. Combining shaky QB play with crappy receivers and you get a performance like last night. Eli is the only guy that can go up and make a play. Backtrack 4 years ago and Lawson, peoples, Surgent, and peewee all had that ability and they made Gautier ( who was an erratic passer as well) shine. We need some receivers!

I don't think he has played running back a day in his life.

We are weak at FS so we tend to get beat a few times over the top.

Does anyone know if Jamal Robinson is playing hurt? If not what the hell is going on? I know he is capable of playing a lot better than he has

Play calling sucks. Our QB sucks at throwing the ball (which is the main job of a QB), and not enough of our WRs are stepping up. I just dont see how Nixon is the starter. This coaching staff is really starting to lose some of my respect.

I will say this for Nixon, he isn't getting much help from the line. But still, his throwing motion is cringe worthy.

Boomer he played a limited number of play's. The Lamers hadn't a book on him. And finally in the immortal words of Stevie P small sample.

Let's not blame players for bad coaching decisions.

Hud owns the good and bad of this UL team.

-0---Wow --the question was making a throw -----Fabulous play he did make, book on him or no book breaking a tackle and getting it off on the money----Who is blaming the players??? Where does that come from, surely not I----Yes the buck stops with Hud---SO ????
