Hud is a former QB and has dealt with the passing game for his entire coaching career and I guarantee that he is playing the guys that can get the wins----Read his article today in that he missed some throws but that there were busted routes and slips that would have been completions---Another thing I think fans are missing is that if he weren't the QB he wouldn't have the rushing numbers that he does have---look at McGuire's numbers as a pure running back, but he adds that valuable asset of the running QB like Ark St has!!!
    Why so upset Boomer?

    You got your guy.

    Enjoy him.

No way....Never have we had a person who couldn't pass the ball forward. We have one right now. He lacks the ability to produce a positive passing yard.

Great athlete...can run like a deer, but boy he stinks at that whole forward pass thingy that most teams do

Read his article today in that he missed some throws but that there were busted routes and slips that would have been completions---Another thing I think fans are missing is that if he weren't the QB he wouldn't have the rushing numbers that he does have---look at McGuire's numbers as a pure running back, but he adds that valuable asset of the running QB like Ark St has!!!

17 for 44 Boomer. He started the game 2 for 17 with a pick 6. He was absolutely horrible and it was the worst QB performance I have ever seen. He missed wide open reads and made ____ poor throws all night. He got bailed out at least twice by Fuse and once by McGuire. But I'll give it to you Boomer, he's a hell of a running back.

Also your QB should be your teams leader, show the intangibles to will a team to win. I saw WRs quit last night, I also saw McGuire essentially give up for almost a quarter last night. The kid is still a failed drug test from never suiting up again.

I'll say it again, our best chance to win is Haack at QB, Nixon in Harris's role and get back to using McGuire how we have the last two years.

Boomer I have to agree with you did anyone else notice that other than Eli and Gabe no one ran hard routes every down or even tried to fight for the ball. I have to believe Nixon is hurt did you see how he was running off the field. He does what they ask him to do blame the Off Cord JJ

Hes solid, Brooks would have gone to the ER the way the line blocked tonight

There is a simple answer to your statement. They are running one read routes, so when the primary receiver is covered Nixon scrambles.

Nixon is a NFL type RB, not quite as shifty as Harris but more explosive and we have him playing QB. It's a damn shame.

Nixon had plenty of time to throw on the majority of his passing plays. stAte blitz a ton last night and we never, not once truly beat the blitz because Nixon can't throw.

If you want to defend his game as a RB I could almost understand that. But 17for 44 is absolute garbage. Especially since his 2 Ints were a puck 6 and one in the end zone where the safety had broke on the route from between the hashes before Nixon ever threw the ball. He stared his WRs down all game. That's why it was hard for them to get open. He telegraphs his passes and is not accurate. He is the worst QB we have suited up since the Stokley era.

I give you last night was not his night but I do remember TxSt game, Brooks, Davis, Brady, Manning or any QB would have gotten killed last night behind our line. Its like we cant pass block. And for god sake can we get someone to run a route. Now I will also say this either we had a lot of one player routes or Nixon locked in on one receiver and stared him down give the defense an advantage. I feel it was the latter.

Txst is literally the worst defense in the country.
