    1. Our defense is lost for the first 1-1/2 quarters every game. It takes that long for the coaches to figure out what to do. That's a coaching problem.
    2. Nixon is a running back. And would be good one. We should be starting Haack or the Freshman, and Nixon should be in the Alonzo Harris role. Eli should be in space, not between the tackles.
    3. Our offense looks like a High School offense, and our QB looks like a (big) high school quarterback.
    4. Tackling. My God.
    5. Unless we make changes to our offensive scheme, and learn to play 4 quarters of defense we will not win 5 games.

Felt the same way. He knows he has to pump that sunshine though. Doesn't want to lose his pre-game gig at Mellow Mushroom, because a few more abysmal performances while LSU continues to roll and the fickle, I-want-what-is-hot-right-now, Lafayette fans will rear their heads and exile back to Baton Rouge.

Down by 30 and our QB has to look to the sideline for 20 seconds while our coaches decide which 1 of the 5 of our plays we will run... Then it's the same zone read left Nixon ran all night. Every game it's appears we start with day 1 of spring ball install and takes us all game to get to plays we learned during the week.

We would be undefeated if we only had to play the second half according to HUD. On another note, my 78 pound 6th grade linebacker has better tackling fundamentals than this team!

LSU has their bye week, so weather permitting, I could see a 20k+ crowd happening.

Laying an egg against Monroe though, is there any coming back from that?

MAT, we MAY have been just a quarter away, but the problem was it was the FIRST quarter!! They have NOT learned how to START a game yet!!

Beyond a final score and a box score, our brass, fans, and many in the media have absolutely no idea what they're seeing on the field. To think we had a chance in that game is laughable.

Why do you guys think we keep "coming back" in the second half? Teams are letting up, subbing, protecting a lead. Same with our "improved defense" in the second half. Teams score in bunches and then get conservative and sit on the ball. Just watch the games!
