Both teams are terrible at passing, difference has been the coaching. Ark state has played to stop the run and we have played whatever it is we play.
Play selection
Ark state 26 rush 12 pass
UL 22 pass 21 rush.
Their coach gets it!
Congrats to Jay Johnson for FINALLY getting McGuire involved in the passing game after just 29 minutes...
Hud:"I hate that we got started so late....we're gonna get back into the game. We'll improve and make some adjustments."

Coach Mark Hudspeth:"Offensively, we got off to a slow start. We finally found some answers there late."

I'm just at a loss for words. We moved away 3 months ago and as much as I love Lafayette and UL, I'm really glad that I can just turn off the game, detach myself from this mess for a bit and no one will likely be talking about the game tomorrow. Here's to hoping something gives and this team fixes at least some of the things that can be fixed (coaching, hustle, veterans stepping up.)
For the record, I'm still not giving up yet. On this game yes, but team, no. HUD has a knack for proving those who do that wrong. However, everything looks very bleak at the moment. Like Russian winter bleak.
I'm still flying in strictly to see the Troy game. I just hope I'm one of only a few in the stands at that point.
I'd love to eat crow, but I'm not buying what Hud is selling tonight.
