And if that's the case, then I have no reason to continue my season tickets and RCAF.
Nobody said we can't beat Akron. That loss is entirely on the coaching staff. The question was not about individual games, or even seasons, but about what is necessary to get our PROGRAM to the level of Memphis or other former peers.

I know...and I appreciate your comments and analysis. But we keep wetting the bed in our OOC schedule every year...as others come out with wins. The other things you mention are very important...but as long as we keep losing the winnable games, we won't move forward...not even with more fund transfers. Heck...we wanted this new performance center. We got it, then peed our pants. And that is every year. I'm tired of giving the staff a pass.

This! We keep talking about conference holding us back when we can't win the conference. Sure all the external things mean a lot moving forward but what about right now? We are failing to win the games we are supposed to in bc of a lack of coaching. I hate to tell you guys and it's a year away but McNeese will out coach us next year and beat us if our coaching staff doesn't look in the mirror and stop being stubborn.

Unfortunately, I no longer believe it's a question of stubbornness.

Thank you, some get it. as much as everyone wants to move, the conference is not the reason for our sub-par on field performance. why do we have to wait until all our dream situations for the university materialize before we have on field success. also, i thought the "make it " statement was what do we have to do to be ranked in the top 25? like memphis, houston, temple, and toledo. the answer to that is win games, they are all undefeated, i believe all have wins over P5. if we are sitting at 6-0, we would be ranked also. no matter the conference.

and look at the referenced teams' names; two cities, and the side of your head.

No one is saying we aren't in the Top 25 or not winning certain games because we are in the Sunbelt. Some of you folks have trouble seeing the BIG picture and why being in the sunbelt while other programs continue to pass us by or leave us behind is a serious problem.

Careful. That kind of thinking might get you a red dot. We're way better than that school in Lake Charles, remember? We now have 4 bowl wins. No way their football program is anywhere near our level.

Some people will get a rude awaking. That team is very well coached. Let's hope Lance Guidry moves on bc he can flat out coach defense.

I'm tired of handing this staff excuses for underperforming in winnable games.

If you don't have several red dots by now, you're not doing it right brother.
