Should be easy to goad those jerks into some unsportsmanlike penalties. Unless we're their victims.

we don't get turnovers because we are undersized as a D and don't "stick" people with the ball. We softly lay a pillow down for them and use a buddy to help them down. No physicality. If you hit them hard enough a few times, the you can strip it

Seems like we hit them and just expect them to fall down or drop the ball. Gotta learn to hit, wrap em up, try and strip the ball, put a helmet on the ball and cover a loose ball.

"Wrapping up" seems like a lost art...

Oue defense over the last 5 years have not wrapped up at all, with exception of a few games. This year's defense is the worst form tackling team we've had in a loooong time.

It's not just us, I see it with most college programs especially at the defensive back level. They want to throw the shoulder and come up with the big hit. That is fine if you can create a fumble or two but if that's not working use those arms.

How are we undersized as a D? Our down linemen are all over 300 lbs. Now, I agree on their lack of physicality, but size is not the issue.

    Dunbar 6'2" 317
    Briscoe 6'3" 325
    Winston 6'4" 300
    Kidd 6'3" 300
    Douglas 6'3" 303

See, I think they are the ones goading ... we can't fall for their tricks.

Didn't look that up but they look like they're getting manhandled. Now whether it is a lack of talent and/or coaching I don't know.

Agree with this with the exception of Tovell and Tyren Alexander. Those dudes wrap up and bring guys down!

Tovell has played very well this year.

I have been a Tovell fan since he got here. Problem is, he's left out to dry far too many times.
