Well Barchief's boys (Beau/Bryce Robinson) smashed everyone today as the Cajuns dominated men's and women's side.

Honestly, the Robinson twins are about as good a runners as we have had at our U. Coach Kelly LaMaison is an excellent coach, very knowledgeable, and even better, she loves UL. The women did awesome as well. I believe they scored a perfect score of 15.

We (Monica, the boys, and myself) appreciate all of the opportunities to succeed that UL has given them. As you know, coming from a school that isn't exactly known for its distance program (Hahnville), I was hoping that once they got here, they would really start taking off, and it looks like that is the case. They still have a little less than 3 years of running left here, so the sky is the limit!

--We need to keep recruiting all of the state for academics and athletics, but St Charles, St John the Baptist, Lafourche, Terrebonne, and St Mary should be Cajun Country!!!

I completely agree, and I definitely think it is possible.... it's just hard to break through the mind cloud of purple and puke in our neck of the woods. I mean, look at the high schools...Hahnville (Tigers, purple and gold), Thibodaux (Tigers, purple and gold), Lutcher (Bulldogs, but purple and gold), Terrebonne (Tigers).

It's like the old saying.... "I wear Vermillion and White because me, or someone in my family went to UL..... you wear purple and gold because you shop at Wal-Mart"
