That Massey rankings also had Oklahoma #1 and Texas #77. How'd that work out on the field?
Still looking that the teams we lost to are not bad but some are very good, Especially when you see the teams that we lost to beat---now the teams we have beaten are very poor---but again Kentucky has only lost to undefeated Fla---Tech only losses to a very good K state and WKU teams
Even Akron when you see whom they have played and their 3 and 3 record doesn't look bad at all----Ohio has one loss and has beaten Marshall and of course Pitt and Oklahoma, their other losses speak for themselves!!!
Louisiana Tech had to kick a last second field goal to defeat a 1 and 5 UTSA team......who cares right now
This is why this "this team beat this team" is nonsense....
We are ranked 102... Fact... I guess Massey forgot to figure in our incredible moral victories against college footballs juggernauts
I did use it to look at North Texas' schedule; I remembered hearing something about how bad they were this season ... worse than NMSU ... now 0-5 after quite a game against Portland State ... head coach gone now.
Massy Index might have some validity after about 7/8 games intraday season. Certainly not fve or six
Our losses ----Akron (3-3) plays Bowling Green who has lost to Tenn and undefeated Memphis----Kentucky is off (4-2) losses to Florida and Auburn by a combined 8 points----LTUR (4-2) plays Miss St who has lost to LSU and Tex A&M----We need to get out of triple digits to where we belong---I hope!!!
Bowling Green is ripping Akron a new assssssshoooole. 56-10, or some such...
