Might need a game against Tulane as well as a game against a team from Lake Charles and one from Hammond to be sure, with the way our team is currently playing.

Western Kentucky, whom we ran into the ground just two seasons ago, is ranked 44.
GA Southern (Are they ineligible for a conference title this year as well?) is 45.
East Carolina, whom we beat in the 2012 NOLA Bowl, is 54.
LA Tech, whom we are supposed to be a rival with, is 59.


How did Western Kentucky leave us so far behind? How are we supposed to talk about being the best football program in our conference when GA Southern and App State are both 40-50 spots higher than us?

There QB Doughty is like in his mid 30's and has been in at WKU since the late 90's. Really hes just a 6th year senior. They have an very good offense and some D this year.

i see army is one spot above us. their only win was against Eastern Michigan(yes the team that just got beat by lsu enabling them to move up in the polls) anyhoo.....LSU margin of victory over E.mich was 22 and Army's also 22 points. Army scored more points than LSU did

Doughty is turning 24 which is pretty old to be an undergrad in college. He will be a top 5 qb drafted next year. I am just ____ed because the loss to WKU screwed up our season. We will have to play them again in Kentucky. Until your O changes to pass first run second, you should look for 5th year RBs that may be able to play qb. ;-)
