    People have a right to be pizzed as all hell about this! Not only does it hurt the University but it also hurts who the NCAA suppose to benefit...student athletes.

    If anyone here has ever dealt with a regulatory agency you will understand the University's actions. To save the program long term they take as big self imposed hit, which I would have to say would be much less than what the NCAA would serve up on a platter if we did not fully and completely cooperate.

    For there to be a "lack of institutional control", wouldn't there be a series of violations overy years to establish this? (Kind of like RICO?)

    If there University is correct, we're only talking one instance. The money we've denied and the last two are subsequent to Saunders' lack of cooperation.
