He's probably not happy, but Id guess being the 1 offensive player with the "C" on his chest last night, he will at least finish the season with class instead of quitting (if he even wants to leave).

---Well I have been knocked, scorned, and subjected to all kinds of crap saying Nixon is the guy---I knew he was a better athlete, I think tougher, was a better fit for the Z-read, and had seen him pass the ball quite well----One problem for both QBs is that they have NO game experience---I think both need playing time and it was unfortunate that they were put into the situation-----If it were Haack or Nixon I think their performance would keep getting better!!! Since for now it seems Nixon is the guy I think he will get better!!!

I am encouraged by the win but a bit worried in the coaching staffs inability to design an offense around Haack.

You wont always be able to recruit a Gautier/Broadway.

Happy we got a win. Very happy. I'm not going to get all pumped up with our O, Texas St is a bad football team on defense. Our defense played well, and that Brazil KR was much needed.

I'm pumping my brakes on the O and QB play. Arkansas St should be a better indication.

If this is the offense Hud wants to run...so be it. It's still slow developing...and when it's 3rd and long we have little chance to pick up a first down...but against inferior opponents it is effective. Good to see our offense actually clicking for once. If I was Brooks Haack...I'd ask for a transfer Sunday morning...bright and early.

I'm more worried about Davis asking for a transfer. From I been told he is the future, but smh on how he hasn't found his way on the field. Anybody know anything, or has he been overhyped?

Or maybe Haack just doesn't have it. Maybe a transfer to an FCS school is exactly what he needs. Both have two starts this year. Look at the performance of both against FBS competition, and you tell me who moved the ball better.

I'd think he will get his shot when Nixon and Haack graduate giving home 2 years to start if he can beat out the others.

For those of you who were critical of the Cajuns' defense.

After TxSt went up 14-7, Texas State got exactly 13 yards in their next 26 plays. During that time the Cajuns had over 300 yards in offense.

With all respect, if you are still yakking about QB, you missed the real story in this game.

Texas State isn't good defensively. But they are a solid offensive team.
And while our offense was taking control, our defense embarrassed them.
