Coaching staff is a joke

I do. This starts with the coaching staff and this is directly connected to recruiting. It's not Nixon's fault that he's not a good QB, it's not Haacks fault either, it's the fact we never recruited a real QB successor to Broadway. It's the coaching staffs fault, we haven't recruited the trenches, or Defense in general. All of what we are seeing is directly connected to recruiting, and this SHOULD NOT be happening in year 5 of a coaching staff and after 4 straight bowl games.

I have made peace with this season. We will get 4-6 wins and after four bowl game seasons. Hud has done well and one bad season in five is okay.

Outside of McGuire, I'm not sure any of these players are good enough to play in d1 especially the offensive linemen. Can someone explain to me why we continue to run McGuire like a power back? Trying to fit a square peg in a round hole all season so far. Also why don't they throw crossing routes. As much as they compare Haynes to Peoples they sure don't use him like they used Peoples.

Like someone said earlier in the thread, I've made peace with this season, I've been here since I was a freshman in 2002 (and before that off and on being a lafayette resident with no connection to the university), and I'm not going anywhere. But like I said, I'm not going to let cajun clunkers ruin my weekend like they have in the past.

We have not recruited well and it is showing. 4 straight bowl wins and you can look at the list of 15 or so early commits that are 2 star athletes and below for the upcoming season. I don't know if it's the conference we play in, or if the coaches just can't recruit but Bustle's players have looked more solid than the results we're getting here.
