I don't think we get ranked either.

But that doesn't mean we can't have a great season.

I think we will be good, real good. But ranked! That's laughable. We are so far removed from being ranked it's not even funny.

Lol, we won't get ranked. If we don't win 25 or more games it will be a disappointment.

We are in a crappy conference in all sports aside from softball and baseball. Even in those we are better than the league.

We absolutely COULD get ranked if Marlin can pull a Marty, and beat some of these pre conference powers, and not lose to the SLC teams. Long shot, but could happen. Of course once we get into conference play we have the small time zebras canceling out good players in the guise of solid defense.

Granted Marlin has never pulled a Marty, I do recall that great Lexington championship. Of course the American South conference made sure we went back to slow down ball.

Why is everybody thinking we will be so good----I think Long is one of the best to ever play at ULThought the 2 freshmen were good last year (Wash and Stove) think Walker could be a real help---Wright is great on defense and can push it but forces things a bit much----think that all the other returnees are all good hands and hope that Scotty Plaisance can be a 5---problem is that all these return guys have never really been difference makers---at times yes but never with the consistency needed for us get to another level----please show me where I am not on the money cause I really want to be wrong!!!
