The facts don't matter. When we start throwing up moral victories for getting plastered by two teams we should be competing with...we have completely, and without exception, lost. Teams play other teams differently, and trying to compare them is ludicrous. That doesn't change the fact that taking any solace in what the past two games outcomes have been is the worst possible thing this fan base, this team, and this coaching staff could ever do. There is no silver lining. There is no light at the end of the tunnel. There is no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow...in fact...there is no rainbow. They should be taking it like their parents just died. It should be that serious to them, and to us.

There are a core group of fans within this base that will always tout a moral victory because of our dark past. These people don't realize that they are actually hurting UL. If Ray A taught you anything, it's PROGRESS OR DIE. Akron and Tech should NEVER blow us out like that. NEVER. Not now, after we've done so much catching up to where we could have been all along.

Too many to name, hence the term "group". Boomer is definitely one of them, I guess you are too, being that you responded.

We start down that road...we die on the vine. They should be our peers...not our betters.
Agreed, we didn't just lose to them. WE GOT KILLED. WE GOT DEMOLISHED. There is no way to sugarcoat getting smashed by two G5 schools, both of who's biggest claim to fame this year is Boomer thinks they have some good LOSSES.

There is also a group that doesn't seem to understand that Progress Rd. is bumpy.

Your GPS is wrong. Progress Road might be bumpy...we careened off into a ravine...Downward Trajectory Ravine...if we are gonna keep naming things.
