what happened here? did we not offer this kid or was it a case of he had no interest in us? since we are on the topic of quarterbacks this week can anybody shed some light on UL not recruiting this kid?

I would take him in a second had we not have Nixon and Dion Ray today. He is very similar to Dion Ray, little better passer and a little slower. But his father made it clear he was going to push his kid to a P5 program and has the connections to get it done. His best offer today was ACC program Syracuse and he took it.

I don't blame the kid one bit. We are who we are. IMO we won't beat out many if any P5 offers while we remain in the Sun Belt. Our facilities will help, but getting the majority of the signing class to be very highly rated kids will be an anomaly.
