Why do people think Nixon can play RB? He never gets hit in practice and when he does get hit in the game he is injured. He would have to remake his body in the weight room to play RB.

That's right. And once you work out to be a running back... you're QB abilities go to pot. We can't put Nixon in at RB.

Aren't QB shoulder pads lighter duty by design?

We will probably never know if he could have been, but I would never out a guy with a recurring hurt shoulder in that role.
