Consistency. That's all I want. Consistently move the ball downfield. Cover the WR and the DL play hard on the line. Get the ball, burn time moving it down and score....each time. If I see that, then it will be a special year for me. If we win by 1 point each game, so be it. 11-1! I'll take that any day.
They haven't thrown well all year. They had 100 total yards of offense against Pittsburgh. They are more of a threat to run, especially with their QB. Having said that, I think they will get a few "big" plays against us (more than 25 yards) and put up offensive numbers in the upper 300's against us. This should be enough to keep the game somewhat closer than many think. The key will be turnovers (there is no turnover battle, remember). If we don't kill ourselves, we should be able to run them down.

Mark Hudspeth originally tried to make Saturday a 1 p.m. kickoff to try and take advantage of the Louisiana heat against a Midwestern team
I'm glad we kept it an evening game. Akron isn't a Midwestern team we should have to make that sacrifice.
I hope we win easily enough that it's not stressful, but not dominant enough that we get cocky before La-turd

After doing my homework, I'm going to revise my prediction.

This defense is going to present us with some problems, especially in the first half. I see a low scoring affair on Saturday.
