Took the NWSt game and added about 2,000. Akron probably moves the needle for casual Cajun fans just as much as NWSt. The extra numbers come from the fact that there is very little competition for entertainment in the Lafayette area this weekend. LSU playing early and on the road, weather will be close to the same as the last home game. So I'll be optimistic and say we'll have better numbers than two weeks ago.
28,900
If I recall correctly BOP said the official attendance includes all sold tickets, and UL students. Not included bands, and workers.
In that case it doesn't matter if your tickets were scanned or not. Hundreds of free kids? How you going to count them?
If they're counting all sold tickets we should all buy one extra cheap seat used or not.
Kids get in free, but they must exchange the coupon for a ticket.

It was going to be 27000, then I found out I will be making the game!

My favorite part about last game was getting excited to try this new Ragin Cajun beer, only to find out that they were sold out before halftime. Luckily we post-gamed at Deano's and they had it on tap. I love to go on the student side for the atmosphere, but the concession services on that side are horrendous. Those on the home side have it nice.
Second favorite part, the "express lane" to get into Gate A took 5 times longer than the bag check lane.
Looked at last years attendance figures and it was a progressive drop from opening game to the homecoming game and then dropped again for the last one. 36,170 , 25,607 , 24,616 , 21,760, 25,861, 20,638. Unless we don't follow history I don't see us surpassing last week.
