GD the last time I went to a game in Ruston it was ok to drink beer in a can at your TG spot. It was not ok to walk around with a can of beer as I was told by security to poor it in a cup. Do you know if it is still against the rules to walk around with can beer in hand or should I bring a pack of solos? I think neck ville has relaxed its liquor laws some since then.

Drinking beer at your tailgate and walking around the stadium should be fine, whatever security guy that told you to poor it in a cup was just being an A-hole, I never bring solo cups and never get told anything when walking around with my beer. Sometimes the ATF shows up to hassle students.

Ruston has relaxed the liquor laws significantly but the ones still left (for inside city limits) that will probably never go away:
Can't buy any alcohol on Sunday
No packaged hard-liquor
Bars/restaurants liquor sales stop at 12pm (this one might get changed eventually as downtown is starting to become more in tune with Tech students)
