UL City would expand game day experience to a new level.
would we be called UL at UL? much better than at laf! I like the proposal/ check out N.dame, I think they have unincorporated out of south bend, and into N.dame, Indiana

Honestly I think The Park at the Horse Farm based on that concept could end up being a pipe dream.

Back in the old days, NO was our second largest area of recruitment. It had dropped badly in the bad dorm days to a point where Houston was nearing the their numbers here. They're back (Yes, Boomer, lots of Blue Jays too). Athletics makes it more fun; with the new dorms, now the U and we're in a good position for growth. To a point we need to look at more dorm space. Now, we need a good infusion into some of our academic programs (LIKE a NEW Engineering building and labs) and we really grow.
Saw posted on the SBC board attendance thread that UTA has about 37K with 7K in just engineering.

Did you read the article or being sarcastic? This is the highest enrollment with the highest GPA & ACT scores.

Carve out a city "Louisiana", from University to College & Bertrand, and Pinhook to Cameron.

6+k in engineering is international students. Same ratio of international with UT Dallas. They dont cap international so they come by the thousands each year.

Yes, they apparently got a major donor who gave enough to earn naming rights. This person has not been named yet, but will be announced in December.....along with the name that was chosen. They are finishing up final drawings and construction of phase one is scheduled to begin in the spring.

Just to be fair, the tuition increases were put in AFTER 99% of this freshman class had already starting making plans to come here. The increases were announced July 7th.. that's a little more than month before the start of classes.

UL has grown by 2,641 in the last 30 years. The attendance in 1984-85 16,351. Incidentally that was the window where UL partially marketed as University of Louisiana.
one caveat to note, school was open enrollment then, not so today

    That is a BIG difference.

It's a good thing too when it comes to campus capacity, otherwise the future need for land would already be in the rearview mirror.
