Don't we need something like 10 PhD programs and 100 PhDs to attain Doc I status? If not, just what is the criteria? I would be interested in seeing how many PhD programs we have and how many students enrolled in each. That would give us some idea of how close we are to Doc I.

Good thing UL has the Horse Farm for future expansion.

Whoever acquired that for UL was a visionary.

I'm not sure where you think we're going to expand ON TO the horse farm. But they have a master plan and it's all pretty much used

No problem on the Doctoral referance. My wife has a DNP(Doctorate of Nursing Practice) and has to correct people constantly.

I really don't know where we need to be to attain Doc 1 status.

I think you would like my vision for a "UL City". Higher grade apts/condos (5-10 floor modern apt buildings) an Urban City in the space where Blackham is now to CajunDome. Students could have rental options starting with regular dorms up to Apts/condo sized living quarters. Use main street frontage for retail space/restaurants. UL City would expand game day experience to a new level.

would we be called UL at UL? much better than at laf! I like the proposal/ check out N.dame, I think they have unincorporated out of south bend, and into N.dame, Indiana

Honestly I think The Park at the Horse Farm based on that concept could end up being a pipe dream.
