2016 Baseball Schedule

The Astros College Classic is a real feather in the cap for this program! The Cajuns really need to show well in the field and in the stands. An annual invite is not realistic but it would be great to be in the regular rotation

I know it is against lsu's preconference scheduling philosophy....but I'd still love to see a 3 game series played between us. It would be great for college baseball. I know it will never happen, because they have "nothing to gain". But it still would be fun

If LSU could sell beer in the stadium they would make a killing scheduling a three game series with us. We damn near ran Zephyr out of beer last year on week night.

I don't think they are necessarily moving to 33 games. I think it will be like the SEC was with twelve teams...you play ten opponents and you don't play someone in the other division and it rotates.

Having SLU as a weekend series allowed us to add Southern Miss and La. Tech.

SLU series is on our bye weekend for conference play. I bet there will be lots of Cajun fans in Hammond on that Saturday and Sunday as that is a relatively easy trip. There are also a few Cajun alums who now live in the Mandeville/Covington area.

Too early to tell. Depends on who purchases properties run out of my employer's office.
