Sometimes the things that go bump in the night can be less scary than the things that go “boom,” no matter what time of day.

If rolling thunder makes your heart pound, strong winds and heavy rain whip up your worry, and lightning sends you running, Lafayette meteorologist David Paul may have the class for you.

Paul, the chief meteorologist for KLFY-TV Ch. 10, and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s Continuing Education Potpourri Program have teamed up to offer a class called “Confronting Your Fear of Weather.”
