I disagree on the Prophet. Eli performed well in the role he was given, to replace Harris. He picked up 3-5 yards when it was needed, just like Harris did. I was really disapointed that he did not have an opportunity to do what he is good at because he was running up the middle every play. This was not his fault and it had nothing to do with not practicing. I have a feeling he will have a career night this weekend.

Last year vs a very good Ole Miss team Elijah had 87 yards on 12 touches. Ole Miss was a team that was keying on the run because they didn't feel threatened by the pass.

Even without the threat of the 2015 passing EM averaged 6.6 yards a carry. vs Ole Miss.

This year the UL averaged 5.3 overall but Eli averaged 3.2
Last year UL averaged 5.2 and Eli averaged 6.6

I'm just saying he was not up to his old self/game speed and he like Robinson was held back in preparing according to Hud.

I guess I will take solace in the thought that Hud agrees with me, or visa versa.

I also think last week will give him the conditioning he missed in camp.
