They has 27,906. That's 99.5% filled. Remember that Southern travels well and also too, there is nothing else going on in Ruston other than cow tipping on a Saturday night.

Cajun Field is 36,900. Their attendance would be 75.6% of our capacity.

I agree, we would have better than 75% attendance at our place!

Of the photo's I've seen.....8-10k. A good portion, about 1/3 of the student section was Blue/Yellow. There is limited assigned seating at most of Joe Aillet (like us) so it's first come/first serve.

Haha yeah touché...I think they've been gone for 3or 4 seasons. Word is Tech sent them down for UL to use when you finish your 50,000 seat stadium. Any of y'all plan to come up for game? Should make for a good time. Hopefully a lot cooler & less humid by then....

Yea we got those blue tarps. The art department has been busy air brushing thousands of little Tech kids, and mommas and poppas onto the tarps. We will practice with a giant fan under the tarps creating live movement and to create a faux fan base of LTUR. Hud plans to pump in loud Blue Grass music as part of the prep for the game, I think we rounded up a couple of hundred old boom boxes to make sure the sound was about the right level.

I want what you're smoking....but "blue grass" music?!? That's disappointing as hell. I was hoping for a little Beau Jocque "Give him cornbread" in your Blue Tarp fantasy. I could get behind that.
