What ever the ticket office is doing selling those seats to big sponsor/donors has got to change.
Been saying this for years. The best seats in the house are always emptiest. There's usually fewer than there was Saturday but even that was pretty bad.

On that point, how many people are we turning away (back to their tailgate spot to drink and watch TV) because our gate scanners are too few? I saw a few people get in line, wait a while, not progress quick enough for their liking, give their tickets away and walk back to tailgate.

Regardless, the reported attendance figure is absurd. Grossly under reported, worst I've ever seen. I would not be surprised if there were 33k+ bodies within the gates of Cajun Field Saturday.

I refuse to believe there was only 1400 more people than latech game last year

Who in the athletic department is in charge of this scanning tickets and providing an attendance count?

The more you make these comments, the more confident I get in my initial reaction. No one with eyes can say it wasn't under reported.

This picture is either early or late...I sit in section B and by the 2nd quarter it was much more full than what you see here.

Is there not a way to find out how many tickets were sold?

Getting in should never be more than a five minute experience. However many security checkers we need should always be there. Loss of confessions alone would pay for the extra help.

Somebody (not me of course) needs to make it a point to get a bunch of pictures from everywhere mid 2nd quarter next game to get a true indication.
