Cajuns take a quick 21 nothing lead at the half, plays the gentlemen's game and goes very conservative in the second half allowing NWSU to score 14 unanswered pts. Then they alternate scoring and end up 34-24. I'm hoping for 63-0 though.

Nixon takes over mid-way through the 3rd qtr and legs out 85 yrds rushing with an additional 100 yrds passing with a score. McGuire gets his with close to 150 in rec/rushing. Game is never in hand on Saturday as the defense gets 3 and outs consistently.

Just a reminder that Northwestern State beat La Tech by 3 points last year. I'd like to think we'll take care of business and pull away early, but I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being a close game. Northwestern isn't very good, but they're much better than the 1-AA teams we've played recently like Nichols or Southern.
