Pierce and Tovell were giving it all they had and would be two guys I would single out as being the players that showed up big time.

Those Refs determined the out come of the game.
I was talking about the face mask. It was a 15 yarder, no doubt. As for the holding on an overthrown ball, that's still a penalty isn't it? I'm asking. I thought only interference was a no call on a non-catchable ball.

I'm a Haack fan. I thought he was poised and made good decisions for the most part... although he did force some deep balls to covered receivers who were never open. I also saw several decent passes that were dropped. If he doesn't have receivers getting separation and then receivers who drop the ball, its not going to work regardless of how good he throws the ball.

I'd imagine we will have a QB controversy now... will probably see both play over the next several games. Hopefully, at least one of them will be effective.

    Jamal was a disappointment.

Oh well. In Hud we trust. I'll leave this in their hands.

I too have been in the Haack camp, but Dixon was a double threat. He made some good throws and kept the defense on their heals with his running threat. I'll too trust in Hud.

SEC network recap had a lot of good things to say about our program. (name police). They used Cajuns and Louisiana...no l's, lafayette or hyphens.

It may be I am just saying, defend it, refs should never determine the out-come. Gave them favorable spot ok, facemask ok, you can see that, but a penalty on a over thrown ball that was thrown out of bounds that continues the drive, and gives them first down, with less than 2-minutes, in field goal range, that sealed it. That was a major call at a crucial time.

I thought Haack looked pretty solid, even though he didn't have much help from his receivers. Nixon definitely threw Kentucky for a loop with the read option, and we need to make sure both of them get reps in the offense.

Good analysis. I was even more amazed by the even more insanely favorable spot on the 3rd down and long play right before that - which made it close enough to even think about going for it on 4th. I think that spot was more than a yard off. Don't you think they punt if it's 4th and 2 instead of 4th and inches?

But, the game was lost on Cajun miscues. Still had chances. Didn't get job done.

We gave up zero sacks. That was huge IMO. Wasn't sure how much time we'd give Haack to throw.

I'm a fan of which ever quarterback give us the best chance to win.

It could be dion Ray or Jordan Davis.

    I don't care.

I'm just worried about a Masson redux
