gooooooooo wreckarams
Hale's name is brought up in this specific instance because his resume and history is known, and in the opinion of many here is better than that of Harris.
The question is not whether those who supported Hale will support Harris. Virtually all have stated they will.
The question is whether the RCAF belongs to T-Joe and a few rich guys, or does it, as we have been being promised for several years, belong to the entire body of RCAF donors.
The outcome of this particular hire is relevant only because the process by which it was done is not congruent with what a very large group of mid level donors were told it would be.
In post #139 you claim that Robert is giving at the 'scholarship' level. I've searched for it but couldn't find that level anywhere on the taf site, so I was wondering if you could tell us how much that equals to, and where/how you obtained access to that info. Thanks.
No, I said he was a 'Founding Donor' of the TAF scholarship endowment. I found it in a news release on the lsuforever pages. That site did not give an amount.
Google is your friend.
Steve Hale's name has more to do with the actual process of the hire than with Harris. And you have to know that with all the posting you have been doing here over the past two weeks.
Why move on? Why stop caring? Why accept what we are given? Over the course of history...many opportunities would be lost if more people would just face facts and take what they are given. We wouldn't have a vaccine for Polio. We wouldn't have gone to the moon. Etc., etc., etc. What you are intimating is that we are making this all about Steve Hale...and taking a giant ____ on Jim Harris. Far from truth. Instead we still want to hold the administration accountable for a shady, cloak and dagger process that, just like you agreed with, should have interviewed a very good candidate for ED of the RCAF.
