It is ironic that most of the folks on RP actually have a positive feeling about the hire. It is the small minority that is yelling the loudest. Maybe it is time to give this man a chance and move on.

What I find ironic is just about every person who was backing Steve Hale has stated that they will support Jim Harris. Harris has a lot to prove. While the blind loyalists try to pin us against Harris.
Most of the criticism was directed at the process. This was touted as being separate from the athletic department. It was very much the opposite. When you have the athletic director sitting in on interviews and screening applicants then that just shows how much independence RCAF truly has.
I will stand by my statement that if Jim Harris can't raise the money for Tigue Moore to be under construction (grand stand not lights) and completed or near completion for the 2016 season. Plus have the money in hand and demolition of the upper deck by 2016 then he will be a failure IMO and I don't think that is unfair. He is starting with $5 million pledged for a $12 million dollar project and $21 million pledged for a $70 million project.
Well then set us straight, high roller. Identify yourself as most here have. After all, how could a bunch of insignificant peons like us harm an important man such as yourself? We sure can't get you removed from your hallowed RCAF Board position since the membership isn't allowed a voice in those appointments so your seat is safe.
And if $20,000 is all it took for someone to get a seat not just on the RCAF Board but on the Executive Committee then we are in worse shape than I thought. We are selling ourselves like a cheap Phenix City _____ if that's all it takes.
This was just an observation based on the results of the survey. I hope that Harris is successful because I want the rest of the Master Plan to be completed. Some people act as though they hope he fails so that can be proven right. I had hoped that Hale would get an interview, but the process is done now. As coach stated, we now need to support the person selected. This man is working without a contract, so he must be successful to keep his job. He knows this and will work is rear end off to try and succeed. All I am saying, is give the man a chance.
I'm pretty sure no Hale supporters want to be proven right by having Harris fail.
Of course I'm not sure what you think us being proven right means to me. We've already been proven right. The most qualified man for the job was ignored. IMO he was ignored to protect Scott FormerAD. Really Fish the mans a giant compared to Harris in accomplishments. Objectively a better salesman visa vie his vision vs collect locals.
I voted and 8, because he has a very impressive fund raising history, but lacks the contacts for getting us in another conference, like at least one other candidate would have brought to the table!
