1. we have no idea who the finalists are. That info is and should be confidential to protect the 4 who don't get the job. Lets see who wins the fight, if he or she sucks fire em.
2. The "moles" "lackeys" "errand boys" claims are ridiculous, i know who you are referencing. ill give everyone the benefit of the doubt and chalk it up to high emotions. But please stop with this witch hunt among ourselves, its silly.
okay, then tell us if its not confidential. People in the athletic department will see who the candidates are, they work there, they have to see them. Why do some people in the media know? i have no idea? maybe in the course of doing there job they found out? i don't know. If not assuming 100 % the worst every time i don't know the answer to something makes me an apologist then so be it. Can't we just wait to see the hire is my thesis here?

1-we actually do have an idea who they are and the names have been anything but confidential within the athletic offices. There's an employee running around showing ppl resumes. Explain that one.
2- this whole deal had nothing to do with whether Steve was a better candidate or not. It was to highlight that someone intentionally left Hale out of the interview process and we need to find out why.
3- I may have missed on a few of the names with the lackey claims, but like I said, it's been proven that there are admin moles that come here. Even media members are here and the ones that are comfy with their jobs and have dialogue with Farmer relay what they read here. Just ask them.
Hope all is well with you Douglas
I haven't seen them, I'm not one of those people. Perhaps you can ask them to tell you who were the final 4 or 5 in the process. It's interesting that you come in late into this discussion and make statements that you believe, without reading this discussion over the last 3 to 4 days. One specific name was leaked on this board inadvertently this week, where do you think that name came from? From someone that knows or seen some of the resumes. So much for confidentiality,
if some jack leg is infact walking around the complex yes that is dumb.
all has been much better , but improving, thanks for asking. im checking out for the evening, try not to claw each others eyes out fellas. Cajuns fans are in small supply as it is, we cant walk into a home opener down even one man. I'd advise everyone to take a meteor shower break with a beer and a pretty lady-or dude if that's your bag-tonight. Life is short and often unfair, enjoy what's enjoyable. D-out
1 more then i suppose. yes i have been reading this thread and every other thread. Every post at that, no half ___ scrolling, on this subject, i listened to the interview also, twice in fact. I have no opinion just yet for several reasons, i don't know whats behind doors 1-5. So no its not really that interesting when you think about it. Also, i take a lot of what i read on every part of the net with a heavy dose of salt, so if that was indeed a leak then i missed it.
I just listened for a second time to the interview and without a doubt, Hale is too ambitious for UL. He believes much the same as many of us have over the years. Karl Benson said if a SBC school ran the table it would make the playoffs. Hale says if we believe that were kidding ourselves. Louisiana Tech joining the WAC wasn't crazy, it was high risk high reward and they gained a higher profile nationally. It's a shame. Our leadership doesn’t want to be pushed that hard.

No problem, It might have been removed now to protect their identity on that individual. If it has been removed then I certainly can't blame you for not seeing it in any thread. Thanks for listening.
Honestly, I don't think Hale is right for the RCAF job.
Reason being.... IS I THINK HE NEEDS TO BE OUR DAMN ATHLETIC DIRECTOR.
Seriously though, some of the wisdom and knowledge he dropped on that interview is light years ahead of where Scott Farmer is when it comes to knowing where to steer the ship for the college athletics ocean of uncertainty that is the next 10 years.
