You're not a newbie. You've been with RP since 2006. Post more.
Right. Not new to the board. Pretty new to posting, my old friend.

    Differences I heard tonight:

Hale: There are only two original SunBelt members left. The others have moved on. You are perceived by who you associate with.

tJoe / Farmer: The SunBelt is the place for us. We are comfortable.

Hale: Running the table in the SunBelt isn't going to get you in the playoffs.

TJoe / Farmer: We can accomplish everything we want in the SunBelt.

Maybe we need to question just what it is TJoe and Farmer want to accomplish.

If in fact Mr. Hale listed references who gave him anything other than glowing recommendations, it could be a sign of serious misjudgment on his part. Firstly, one should never list references without first contacting those references to get their permission. One would assume that such contact would lead to either a, "sure Steve, list me as a reference and I'll be glad to go to bat for you", or a polite, "thanks Steve but I generally do not agree to be listed as a reference for XYZ reason".

I've done a lot of interviews and made a lot of reference phone calls and I can tell you from firsthand experience that a negative comment by a listed reference usually struck like a thunderbolt.
He never gave them a list of references, those statements we pulled from articles from Mobile and his disagreement with a mayor that wasn't re-elected.

Because he was forward thinking and wanting to move the SR bowl to a more advantageous city, where exposure would take his interests to the next level.

Listen to the interview before you post more

I hope I am wrong and we get some good information but I feel that this show will do no good for UL athletics.
This is pretty much the case.

Heels digging in as we type.

I'd say the show did no good for the UL athletic director.

I've had the question answered. They do not share the same agent.

guess we do need to start the "Fire Farmer Now" petition.....someone mentioned it in jest a few days ago. But it is needed......it truly is needed.

I will happily sign this one too. Proud to be one of the 48 that signed the Interview Steve Hale petition. Have a hunch a few more signature may be forthcoming.

Mr Leonards thanks for the atta boy, but I was not alone. A lot of ppl are making this rebellion possible. Not to mention Cajun T knocking it out of the park with this interview. There is more to come, so keep up the heat on RCAF board and Farmer. In my and many others opinions, if you're an RCAF member and you're not fighting for Hale, you are part of the problem.
