I'd like to see the 5 SOBs who are better candidates.

I'm all for Hale, don't get me wrong. I thought he made some good points, but it seems like we can't pitchfork the yonks until we know the actual candidate....unless someone "more fortunate" than me already knows who it is.

I love this site, but it can be a tad unhealthy at times, both overly positive and negative

    When's the name release, Friday?
My exact thoughts. He sounds great, definitely worthy of not only an interview, but a follow up interview. But give anyone with half a brain 2 days to prep for on air interview knowing his target audience, they sure as hell better knock it out the park...

What do you think he would have done having 2 years to prep for an actual RCAF interview.

So has CajunRebel chimed in since the interview? How confident are you now that the person who will be hired is better for UL athletics?

How confident now are you that Farmer did not black ball Hale for selfish personal reasons?

If Farmer himself, not one of his cronies, but the actual UL Athletic Director does not call a press conference and explain this in the very near future he is as spineless as we have all thought PLUS he doesn't give a ____ if everyone knows just how spineless of a worm he is.

This selfish move by him has made UL athletics miss on a once in a lifetime opportunity and I am ____ed!

Look up the guys bio, I'd argue the guy went off the top the head with T.

I could conceivably believe their might be a guy who could possibly be comparable, but you cannot and will not convince me there are 5.

    I can go with this.

    Probably a lot.

Look, I am in no way against Steve Hale. Never have been. But give anyone 2 years, what would you expect the results to be?

For a man with Hale's experience and forward thinking you MAKE a position to put him in and hold on for the ride! Oh the places we could have gone!

How many names would it take on a petition to replace Farmer with Hale?

Oh, by the way, thank you CajunT! You did a great job and did the job of what "The Flagship" should have done. As someone said earlier, KPEL is nothing but a UL promotional station. It's obvious The Voice of the Cajuns does not think that us fans whose donations are laughable have no right to be informed of the goings on in the athletic department. Without a real reported like Cajun T people not in the know like myself would never have realized the magnitude of the latest mistake/sabotage job from our athletic director.

I think SABOTAGE is the more accurate term in this situation.

I would expect him to knock it out of the park, which I believe he would have.

Hey, I didn't get a chance to listen to the interview. I'll be able to listen to it tonight. I've ALWAYS believed that Hale was a great guy and a strong candidate.

I'm just not convinced they hired a dope or they did it for evil reasons. We'll see soon enough.

I wonder if Coach Hud, Coach Robe, Coach Mike, or Coach Marlin, or any of the other coaches listened to the interview, and if so, what their thoughts are.
