Steve Hale Interview

I did not listen to the whole thing, but I did hear him speak quite a bit about how the "old conference model" of doing things is coming to an end.

If he did say in another segment that we are who we associate with, then that qualifies as covering his bases. Either the times are changing or the old way of doing things is here to stay. Which is it?

It's funny how we can all tell who did, and who didn't listen to the interview.

Gave him a 1 year extension if I remember correctly.

Our AD has 11/2 years left on his contract and RCAF does not hire AD's, that decision will be made by the President of the university.

In one breath you say it's not snarky, and in the very next breath you accuse him of being unintelligent. Do you even realize what you're saying?

I gotta be real honest with you. The way you've consistently bad mouthed fellow Cajun fans and players who didn't do a single thing to deserve it is really sad. I honestly don't know many people here, but I've seen you say terrible things to a handful of fans I do know, some of whom have done more to help this program than you ever could. And they way you've consistently gone out of your way to personally attack our players is equally sad. People like you make me ashamed to be a Cajuns fan.

No, this has nothing to do with Steve Hale or the administration. By all means say what you want about the situation. But maybe you should consider not being so incredibly ugly towards so many good UL fans and players.

LOL ... When it comes to something as important as hiring an AD, the only members of the board who have any influence with Savoie are the ones who were in lockstep with him to begin with. He will hire someone who is 'comfortable' where we are. If he doesn't, I will be more than happy to go on Jays show and apologize for misjudging him.

I think some of them have learned just how much influence they actually have with this university.
